Garmin Fusion Apollo RA800
Garmin have unveiled their new Fusion Apollo RA800 flagship stereo for the marine electronics market. The RA800 is an upgrade to their popular RA770 model. The RA800 has the same mount specifications as the RA770 and RA670; it offers a direct upgrade path to consumers wanting the latest in performance.

Upgrades
- The main upgrade seems to be a much improved internal amplifier producing 50% more power than its predecessor, with a total harmonic distortion of less than 0.1%.
- There is also a new, higher definition 4.3″ LCD touch screen.
- Garmin also state that the processor is eight times faster, offering a quicker [ and likely smoother ] response time.
High-resolution audio: The RA800 supports high-resolution audio, up to 24-bit at 96 kHz.
Integration: The top models of the Fusion series feature integration with Garmin’s MFDs and with the Fusion Audio app and Garmin smartwatches.
Multi-source: Take advantage of a wide variety of source options available, including:
- AirPlay streaming from Apple®.
- BLUETOOTH® connectivity.
- HDMI ARC.
- USB connections.
- AM/FM radio and AUX inputs.
